My boys really enjoyed the Who Was Series. We incorporated the books into as many lessons as we could. Annie Oakley still a huge favorite. I always wanted a way to document the reading during our history, science, etc. lessons. Besides turning every assignment into a hand written book report, boring, I didn’t have an excellent way to document reading comprehension.
Not until now! After creating our Book Review Sheets I knew creating Who Was Book Review Sheets would be an easy transition! And finally … A way to document the Who Was reading books we were using. These sheets offer: Birth & Death lines, Photo to draw – my boys did not always want to draw the person since the cover of the book is the person. I let them draw their favorite thing, for Blackbeard it was Queen Anne’s Revenge. 5 Interesting Things About This Person, and space to share Accomplishments, Quotes, and/or Awards. Plus our favorite 5 Star rating system.
Be sure to 3-hole punch these Book Review Sheets for your Language Arts / Reading folders!
