One of the great requirements for Colorado homeschooling is teaching a states Civics class. Being a traveling family, we always stress the importance of knowing a place’s history, geography, resources, and culture! If we’re traveling overseas or staying domestically.
To help kick off our Colorado History, I created a Colorado State Pack. This is a great little resource for 3rd – 5th graders! 9 pages to print & 3-hole punch. Finding state facts, animal facts, mapping, and sketching!

I figured if these were great worksheets for my boys – why not create a blank state pack – for anyone anywhere! I’ve (hopefully) removed all of the Colorado info and left it blank for you to fill in your state info, state animal, state flag, state facts, etc. I also removed a lot of color to be more printer friendly.
You can easily find your own state’s info online at sites like 50states.com. If you’re taking a fun summer vacation or visiting grandma make it educational & print another pack and fill in those state facts! You can print this 50 times if you want to create a USA Geography class.
