Something to note about little kids, if you’re going to give them something like Preschool Zoo Do-A-Shapes you better have a good reason why the dolphin gets kicked out of all the fun. Because, “he’s an animal too ya know.” It doesn’t matter how many times you have to stress the word ZOO! So, it was time to make Ocean Do-A-Shapes!
Grab your saltwater lovers, because we’re going to strengthen fine motor skills with Ocean Do-A-Shapes! And give the dolphin some serious respect.
Print these 5 pages to help your preschooler do more than just “dot a page”. Let them trace and color hearts, triangles, and other shapes to truly challenge fine motor skills.

Work with fat markers first, then slowly decrease the thickness of the coloring tool until you get down to crayons or colored pencils. It won’t be perfect – but it will help!
I can’t guarantee we’ll make a 4th do-a-shapes printable, after our monster & zoo animals. But these have been useful printables to help children who are like my son and struggle with delayed fine motor skills.
