I loved homeschooling preschool. I sent our oldest to a prek4 program, so I went over the top homeschooling our youngest when he hit preschool. It was meant to be. I’m glad I had the extra time to recognize our youngest had delayed fine motor skills. I quickly realized I would have to create extra activities to help with dexterity during his early elementary grades. To make “exercises” a bit more interesting, I created Preschool A-Z Letter Hunts.
Preschool A-Z Letter Hunts are not a visually stimulating, over-the-top, ink draining pdf. I promise! I wasn’t going for best in show. I really just wanted something easy, printer-friendly, and appropriate for Letter Learning. With lots and lots of repetition. These letter hunts are not like our old scavenger hunts. The letter is blatantly obvious. So much so you almost miss a few! But it’s all about letter recognition and practice holding a marker, crayon, and then pencil. And repetition making neat circles.
These pages reinforce letter learning, fine motor skills and burn some boredom blues. I’d print one the night before so when little hands got to the table ready to make a mess … there was something waiting on him instead of trouble.

** Since this worksheets were created a hundred years ago – please do not try to click on the links on the last page. They do not work and I’m too old to fix them. You can go ahead and click them, but please do not email me later to let me know. It’s cool. Really. You getting letter hunts is more fun than me trying to promote myself thru a link you might already be following.  If not – follow us on Instagram! @LaytonAdventures But I have to warn you – my babies are no longer in preschool!
