Lego Grinchmas

I love the Grinch! He is my favorite redemption story followed closely by MegaMind.

Grinch

But first, let me throw in our new How the Grinch Stole Christmas Book Review Sheet! Between the brick building or even listening to the story while building these fun creations – let students enjoy sharing what they love about this book. 3-Hole Punch the review and add it to your Reading Binder.

The Grinch

Because I love Christmas and The Grinch so much, I asked my son to make me a Lego Grinchmas!

Lego Group is not associated, endorsed, nor partners with any of our brick creations. Lego Grinchmas was first posted at Educating Laytons and more Christmas creations can be found in Brick Christmas.

Honestly this village might be my favorite. It’s super cute!! But it’s probably a tie for the Gingerbread House!

Making lego mosaics can be easy if you stick to the basic shapes. Don’t stress about colors – some days its fun when it doesn’t match exactly (like our smoke in the village is gray not white because white was being used for something else). The star is not a perfect literal star. That would require a giant tree. Instead keep things simple and implied makes the creations a lot easier!

I added 3 Whoville Word Activities for some brainstorming word fun. Print these free downloads and create new words from the Grinch theme!

whoville word activities – how many words can you create from the original word, WHOVILLE

cindy lou word activities – how many words can you create from the original word, CINDY LOU

grinch word activities – how many words can you create from the original word, GRINCH

Hope you enjoy! Looking for more Christmas word play? Check out our Christmas Page & find more word fun!
