It’s been a bit quiet around the house with Hubs snowboarding in Vancouver, but we’re happy it’s our last Homeschool co-op week Wrap-up.
My son has made a great best friend this year and we will miss her when we start a new place next semester.

We took our spelling and grammar outside because the “cold weather” is FINALLY on the way. I still use All About Spelling.
AWANA this week was pajama night. There was NO way we weren’t dressing up! {I’m one of the 4th grade leaders}
Or maybe it’s dressing down?
I’ve been having fun with Elf. I just like the boy’s laughter in the mornings. It’s also another creative outlet for brainstorming.
It starts the day. My son doesn’t (has never) ‘believed in Santa’, so it’s for no other purpose than to have fun.

The oldest started his tennis lessons this week. His school’s team starts next month. Which kicks off MomTaxi. It’s been nice having a semester of driving across Orlando completely off! So this means I absolutely need to have a ‘workout plan’ ready for mornings because there is a lot of sitting all afternoons.
We are having to switch our English curriculum. I am not happy about it but it’s necessary. Love Notgrass History, but the English portion has not been smooth. I ordered Writing & Grammar 9 from BJP – which I have never used before, but have always wanted to try.
We did start messing around a bit with a new Harry Potter eBook idea. {it’s fun to go to Panera for “businesses meetings with your business partner”. Can you tell I miss having a job??}
So until that’s ready … We are giving away our Lego Brick Christmas EBook for free! click over and print it. There’s a 12 Days of Christmas brick building challenge, Freebies, and some Christmas Activities.
Wow! What a great week. It looks like lots of fun with Elf.
Blessings, Dawn
