Being a Florida Homeschooler one of our great resources is FPEA {Florida Parent Educators Association}. I have been a member for many years and appreciate the FPEA Conference.
It is one of the biggest homeschool conferences in the nation. They bring in expert speakers like my best coffee buddy Connie Albers, curriculum companies, and offer fun events during the conference. Through FPEA seniors can experience a graduation with other homeschoolers in a large graduation ceremony.
FPEA has now started a smaller conference for Special Needs and Gifted children during the fall. One of my favorite people on the planet is a speaker, Colleen Kessler from Raising Lifelong Learners.
FPEA offers a College and Career Fair for homeschool families.
