If you’ve been around the site long you can tell I like to learn about famous people. Especially those who have endured hardships and remained obedient to their gifting to become successful. Like authors who were steadfast thru rejections, waits, ban book lists, etc.
I have created Author Bio Pages for my 8th grader. You too can download and learn more about these author. 3 pages to each writer which include: author information: early education, jobs, rejections, awards, etc. 2nd page for the student’s favorite work (book, poem, etc.), and 3rd page just for “why I like this book”. Print the first page or print them all! This is just a helpful resource to collect information while learning valuable research skills.
Because I like papers for the homeschool portfolio. Don’t forget to 3-hole punch these pages for your Reading and/or English notebook.
