My oldest son absolutely loved Boba Fett when he was growing up. I didn’t get why, since I felt he had such little movie time. My favorite was Chewbacca – who wouldn’t love a giant teddy bear? We have had some great birthday parties and one great cake, thanks to a talented friend.
When the boys were little we would have “Playground Parties” and encourage the kids to come dressed up – as the birthday theme. This was such a treat since most kids only dress up once a year for Halloween. Not to mention you get your money’s worth on Halloween costumes wearing it to a February birthday part! The year we went all Star Wars was hilarious because Hubs grabbed my Darth Vader mask and the kids started attacking with their toy lightsabers! They had a “blast”! See what I did there?
Jake, now a Marines!, continues to love him some Boba Fett. He makes graphic design art – where he is the Star Wars hero in my backyard.
He’ll text me from California, “Are you caught up on The Book of Boba Fett”? It reminded me of the Mandalorian sketches he made & you can download. Sadly they aren’t the Night Owls – I did love Bo-Katan. But your children can color them all different colors. We used to cut out drawings and glue them to popsicle sticks for puppet shows.
