I am happy to share an updated version of our Bible Character Worksheets.
Since my boys are growing up, the need for fun graphics is no longer required. It also helps save on printer ink! We’re at the age now that they want to draw everything themselves. So I have removed graphics from our worksheets as well as added a second page for a bigger drawing.

Since my boys are also growing up, I’m spending a lot more time talking about character! Lately we will read bible stories and discover the character on display. Ways to incorporate these sheets …
Discuss what makes up one’s character: good choices and bad choices. Then write a summary of the “story” in their own words, and finally draw a scene from that person’s story – preferably their favorite part.
Mom … this is a great activity for children to learn about character and bible lessons. However, do not neglect the opportunity to notice parenting skills (or lack of) in these stories!
Be aware that some people just might not have a “bad choice” to write down. That’s okay! Sometimes we have the opportunity to make bad choices yet we continue to make good ones. Something I’m trying to hammer home: Just because a bad option is available doesn’t mean we have to take it.
