When Christmas Break started we found ourselves at the library checking out as many books as possible. I’ve created 3 More Christmas Book Review Sheets to help the long days of Winter Vacation.
Book Reviews are meant to offer students a space to share what they lived about the book, rather than addressing the typical Book Report topics (protagonist, theme, etc.). Book Reviews are more personal. My boys appreciated that there were no wrong answers because what they liked about a book might be different from what I liked about the book. More importantly, these reviews offered a 3-hole punch for the numerous books my boys consumed for Pizza Hut Rewards and book lists for End of Year Evaluations.

The original 3 Christmas Book Review Sheets included: The Polar Express, Mr. Popper’s Penguins, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. This round I picked some beloved fictional characters. Magic Tree House Christmas in Camelot, Nate the Great and the Crunchy Christmas, and Calendar Mysteries, December Dog.
